Warranty policy for HSC, TADANO & DONGYANG cranes

VIPEC is committed to providing professional after-sales service and warranty support for all HSC, TADANO, and DONGYANG truck-mounted cranes distributed in Vietnam.

1. Warranty Period

TADANO

  • 12 months or 1,000 operating hours, whichever comes first.
  • Warranty starts from the delivery date.
  • If the delivery date cannot be verified, warranty is limited to 18 months from the Bill of Lading (B/L) date.
  • Consumable parts are excluded from warranty coverage.

DONGYANG (DY)

  • 12 months from the date stated on the Delivery Report.
  • Warranty covers crane components only and excludes consumable items.
  • Warranty eligibility requires proof that the defect is caused by manufacturing faults.

HSC

  • 12 months or 1,000 operating hours, whichever comes first.
  • If the delivery date cannot be verified, warranty is limited to 18 months from the Bill of Lading (B/L) date.
  • Consumable parts are excluded from warranty coverage.

2. Warranty Parts Cost

TADANO

  • Replacement parts are supplied after VIPEC submits a warranty claim to the manufacturer.
  • Air freight costs from Japan are charged to the customer (minimum USD 130 per shipment) and reimbursed after warranty approval through the TADANO online system.
  • Transportation expenses are calculated based on actual travel distance (USD 0.40/km).

DONGYANG (DY)

  • Warranty parts are provided by the manufacturer.
  • Import duties, VAT, customs clearance, and domestic transportation costs are covered by the manufacturer.
  • Labor costs are covered by VIPEC.

HSC

  • Replacement parts are supplied after VIPEC submits a warranty claim to the manufacturer.
  • Air freight costs from Korea are charged to the customer (minimum USD 130 per shipment) and reimbursed after warranty approval through the HSC online system.
  • Transportation expenses are calculated based on actual travel distance (USD 0.40/km).

3. Repair Labor Cost

For all brands:

Repair labor costs related to approved warranty claims are fully covered by VIPEC

4. Handling of Replaced Parts

TADANO & HSC

  • VIPEC will temporarily store replaced components while waiting for the manufacturer’s decision:

    Return the defective part to the manufacturer if requested.
    Dispose of the part if the manufacturer does not require its return.

DONGYANG (DY)

  • Defective parts will be stored pending the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • If the manufacturer requests the return of the part, VIPEC will arrange shipment accordingly.
