To enhance equipment operation capabilities, standardize maintenance techniques, and strengthen connections between the manufacturer, dealers, and end-users, PALFINGER—a global leader in knuckle boom crane technology—partnered with VIPEC (Vietnam Industrial & Professional Equipment Corporation) to host a specialized technical training program in late May 2025.

The program was conducted in two key regions: Hanoi, on May 25–26, and Dong Nai, on May 29–30, directly hosted by VIPEC.

The event brought together senior technical experts from PALFINGER Asia Pacific, as well as technical teams from official dealers in Vietnam including VIPEC, Trường Thịnh, Trường Phát, Asean, Việt Nhân, and Minh Hải.

Three Key Training Focus Areas:

The training content centered around three main topics: Operating PALFINGER cranes according to international safety standards; Maintenance techniques and fault diagnostics; Introduction to advanced digital technologies, such as the PALTRONIC system and PALFINGER CONNECTED solutions.

During the course, trainees received hands-on guidance in operating PALFINGER’s control units mounted directly on the crane. They practiced deploying outriggers and raising/lowering the boom with precision and safety, following standard procedures. This practical experience helped operators master hydraulic control operations on the equipment, enhance real-world skills, and ensure safety on the job. In addition, the program provided key insights into equipment maintenance and troubleshooting—enabling technicians to improve crane servicing and extend the lifespan of the machinery.

The theoretical portion of the program introduced PALFINGER’s digital technologies and management software, helping participants understand the technological evolution of the crane industry and better prepare for future applications. However, the majority of the hands-on session focused on operating the hydraulic control system via the onboard control unit.

Through this program, PALFINGER and VIPEC once again demonstrated their strong commitment to supporting customers—not only during equipment delivery but throughout the entire usage and maintenance cycle. This initiative is a concrete step toward building a safe, efficient, and professional service ecosystem for the lifting equipment market in Vietnam.
