Elevating Team Management Training – VIPEC Affirms Sustainable Development Vision

On July 17th, all VIPEC management from North to South gathered at VIPEC Dong Nai headquarters to participate in the specialized training program “Elevating Team Management” – a significant milestone affirming the company’s sustainable development vision, with people at the core of its strategy.

At the workshop, Ms. Le Ha Mai Thao – an experienced HR expert – presented a comprehensive overview of solutions to enhance management capabilities for VIPEC’s management team and employees. The training content focused on core issues:

  • Company Vision – Mission and their role in guiding actions.
  • Corporate culture: a soft foundation with the power to shape behavior, performance, and long-term development.
  • The new business environment and the challenges managers need to adapt to and overcome.
  • Methods to enhance performance, foster culture, and optimize team potential.

The program not only helped change mindsets but also provided practical tools for VIPEC managers to become “team leaders” rather than merely “task operators.”

The core of the program focused on the roles and missions of middle managers – those who directly implement strategies, coordinate operations, and maintain the morale of frontline teams.

With 3 main roles:

  • Work Management: Setting goals, assigning tasks, monitoring performance.
  • People Management: Recruiting, training, supervising, and motivating.
  • Culture Building: Inspiring, setting examples, and building a positive work environment.

Managers were encouraged to shift their mindset from “control” to “development,” and from “fault-finding” to “potential-unlocking.”

At the end of the program, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thanh – Chairman of VIPEC – emphasized:

“The solutions proposed during the training session will be an important foundation for all VIPEC staff and employees to act in unison, strive to improve work efficiency, aiming to build a high-quality human resources team and drive VIPEC towards increasingly sustainable development.”

The message “Teams don’t grow on their own – Culture doesn’t form on its own – Results don’t appear on their own” strongly resonated throughout the training session, igniting a new spark of action from each individual manager – starting with themselves, through every behavior and daily commitment.
