Sinopec 15W-40, API GL-4 Engine Oil is suitable for:
Heavy-duty diesel engines (HDDE) equipped with exhaust gas after-treatment systems, e.g., Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR), Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF), or Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems requiring low-ash lubricants to meet Euro V and Euro VI emission standards or Australian ADR 80/02 and 80/03 emission criteria.
Heavy-duty diesel engines operating continuously under very high speed, high temperature, or heavy load conditions, including on- and off-highway, road transport, buses, mining, construction, agriculture, and severe marine applications worldwide.
Fully backward compatible with older heavy-duty diesel engines (HDDE) using conventional designs without exhaust gas after-treatment systems.
Heavy-duty diesel engines of API CK-4, CJ-4, or ACEAE E7/9 types from America, Europe, and Japan.
