Outstanding Advantages of RLBZ series Hot Recycled Asphalt Mixing Plant (RAP)

Our RLBZ series HMA (Hot Mix Asphalt) recycling plant can solve problems associated with recycled asphalt pavement (RAP) such as susceptibility to aging and the generation of blue smoke during the heating process. This recycling plant primarily includes a cold RAP feeding system, a hot gas generator, an exhaust gas treatment system, a RAP recycling drum, and an optional RAP pre-mixing system.

This RAP recycling plant offers high compatibility with hot mix asphalt mixing equipment from various brands, and each recycling plant is designed to provide the best solution tailored to each customer’s asphalt mixing needs.

Hot Gas Generator

This large-sized hot gas generator features a unique structural design that effectively prevents RAP material from directly contacting the flame, thereby slowing down the aging of bitumen. The temperature of the hot air entering the RAP drum can reach between 500 ℃ – 900 ℃.

RAP Recycling Drum

RAP material is heated in this recycling drum. Specially designed lifting flights within the drum help eliminate the problem of RAP sticking (Patent No.: ZL200810189181.1) during the heating process. At the same time, some lifting flights are designed with hooks to collect large-sized RAP aggregates, thereby ensuring good classification of coarse and fine aggregates to reduce temperature differences and prevent bitumen from aging during heating

Exhaust Gas Treatment System

This exhaust gas treatment system uses a dual-fan system. The internal circulation pipe system controls the temperature of the hot air entering the RAP drum, while the secondary combustion pipe system directs residual exhaust gas into the raw material dryer for exhaust gas purification. (Patent No.: CN201620804202.6)

RAP Pre-mixing System

The RAP pre-mixing system can extend the mixing time of RA with recycled materials, allowing the recycled materials to be evenly dispersed. By using this system, mixing time is optimized, which not only improves the quality of the RAP mixture but also increases production efficiency. (Patent No.: 201110063817.X)
